Our mission is to provide education and cultural resources for Black Deaf people in the United Kingdom. By amplifying the voice of our community and celebrating our excellence, our goal is social inclusion and equality which protects and safeguards the well-being and welfare of the Black Deaf community.

Vision

To encourage, empower, educate, engage, protect and safeguard the well-being of all members of the Black Deaf community.

To ensure that Black Deaf people reach their full excellence, whilst retaining their diverse backgrounds and cultural identity and values.

We are currently the only UK organisation, offering centralised support for Black Deaf people and their families. We ensure that Black Deaf people have a safe space to explore their identity and culture and the opportunity to share those experiences. We provide encouragement, education and empowerment inspired by role models, while working to create partnerships and strengthen networks between the Black Deaf community and other organisations.
